12 February 2025 saw demolition company Reigart putting up security fencing and bringing down deteriorating outbuildings – Operation Demolition has begun!
Provided funding applications for another £50,000 are successful, the demolition team will be back next winter to topple the rest of the club. Work cannot begin before then as bats from the summer maternity roost must be allowed to move on first. Because of the sums involved, charity members’ efforts will be focused on fundraising for the foreseeable.
