Families flocked to the Kirkintilloch Gala on 14 June 2025 despite storm warnings for the area and initial rain, which stopped on cue for the fun to begin.
A cracking tombola was Waterside Community Hub’s contribution, thanks mainly to Heather Stalker and family. Tumbling over the tables at the start, the prizes had almost all found winners by the end.
The Waterside Community Hub team is indebted to everyone who made it such a successful day for us, from those who so generously contributed prizes or who transported equipment and goods and set up the stall, to the hard-working stallholders. Not to mention Kirkintilloch Community Council for hosting the occasion. Thank you, all of you!
