For Halloween, WMCS and Waterside Community Council co-hosted a children’s event in the summer house belonging to the village shop (with Tesco and Lidl kindly supplying free pumpkins), and a report was published in the Kirkintilloch and Bishopbriggs Herald of 8 November – more good publicity for the community hub project.
